Excerpts: "Billions of dollars of goods move through the Gulf of Aden each year," said Bill Mathews, Blackwater's executive vice president. "We have been contacted by boat owners who say they need our help in making sure those goods receive to their destination safely. The International Maritime Bureau estimated that more than 100 ships have been attacked off Somalia alone since January. A total of 14 ships and 250 crew members are still being held for ransom. Among them, the Saudi oil tanker Sirius Star and its cargo worth more than $100 million are still being held. The boat and its 25-member crew were seized on Nov. 14 . Just this week, pirates fired on a U.S. cruise boat carrying hundreds of passengers as it steamed across the Gulf of Aden on a 32-day cruise from Rome to Singapore. Blackwater spokeswoman Anne Tyrrell said more than 70 companies, including shipping and insurance firms, have contacted the security specialists for information on the McArthur, although she did not elaborate. She said meetings are taking place this week in London to explain to those interested what the company can provide. Open Question: How many Seals and Rangers would it take to deal with the Somali Pirates?

I watch the Military Channel every the time, and I suspect that I have fallen victim to every the "hype" and "hoopla" that one can pick up there. I don't seriously think that every infantry men have every of these high tech weapons, and I don't believe that the USA has thousands and thousands of SEALS and RANGERS. However, I would like your honest opinion about how many Seals, or how many Rangers it would take to clean up this Somali Pirate problem and rid the seas of the piracy/hostage taking threat.

Open Question: Where is the US Navy when the Somali Pirates attack?

I would like to know what part the US Navy is playing in the new threat to global shipping posed by these pirates operating in the Somali Coastal Area. How many vessels do we have supporting this piracy elimination threat? What success, if any, have they had so far? What type of intelligence operations are being set up to track and identify the supporters of the Pirate organizations? Have they mounted any recent operations to clip off or destroy these pirates before they strike again? Why not?

Ok so I bought Fable and was really hyped up .... T.T of course it doesnt work on my first computer... so i find out my video card is crap... so luckily the gods answered my calls and my pal happened to have a supporting video card ( video cards r alot!!! ) ...ummm it was a geforce 4 ....something something...... ( im mentaly challenged with computer language ..lol ) so i install the game again after uninstalling it to put in the new video card and it still doesnt work so i gave up on fable but now im getting a new notebook and it comes with a killer video card ( i think ) the new notebook is still being shipped but its a HP pavillion Intel Centrino 2 Processor Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P7350 4GB RAM 320GB difficult steer 17" screen :D 512MB dedicated graphics ... Windows Vista ( ive heard the horror storys with vista and fable >.< ) Home premium 64-bit ( this seems bad for fable ) NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT ( which isnt on the supporting list ) and thats about it......so basiclly i want help or want to know if it should work on either of my computers..... please help i really want to play....and the whole thing has sucked so far lol.... also i was wondering if it had anything to do with the code u have to type in when installing the game....maybe u only type it in once ... Thing is, now I finished saving Queen Leene and I'm warping back to the gift, and I'm getting the loop I got when I went back in time the first time. The same cheat is not working, is there another one I need? dude, close up. I don't want to buy a ds. I know there's a second code, and I'm going to receive it one way or another, so that's not "what i receive" since I'm going to end up playing it eventually. look, my problem was just that I didn't have the cheat on before entering the portal, I activated it while in the portal. Resolved Question: Piracy In International Waters?

Somalia and a few other known countries (Malaysia) are expanding far out into international waters (300 miles plus), in the conduct of piracy. Why are the companies being attacked taking pacifist measures instead of shooting the knuckleheads off the freeboard and letting them float the currents to feed the sharks? In international waters these crews have every right to battle off piracy with weapons. Private boaters battle off piracy quite frequently, and if necessary shoot them. So why aren't the shipping corporations willing to kill the vermin rather than cause insurance premiums to go through the roof? Okay, so they're armed. Big deal. vessels are equipped with mutiple radar, each with different degree separation for detection of various target types, size and range. So they've plenty of early warning. The crews can legally carry firearms. Are there enough crew members to cease 6 people boarding at the same time? Wouldn't do the pirates any good to destroy the very leverage (the vessel), they need to exact a ransom. The RPG's are for disabling the vessels bridge and steerage, not the hold. The pirates know if they sink a vessel, it's game on and they'll lose in a big way.And not just by the shipping companies. The last thing they want are naval vessels blowing them out of the water. I'm thinking it's more a lack of ball's on behalf of the shipping company, and the crews.

I think the destruction of terrorism and of piracy is simple. Is political correctness impeding our abilities to properly address these national security threats? I agree with Justaguy. I know a man who when he would do wrong he would run from the police and hide in a particular home. The police would knock on the door and ask the owner to send him out. This person could decline and as the police to receive a warrant. Since Megavideo is being predatory by attempting to charge a fee for films and videos that are uploaded by the public by their possess free will f, and considering the fact that many of the films are not supposed to be uploaded due to copyright infringement then megavideo it self comitting an illegal act by attempting to charge for watching copyrighted films and video via their player, by doing so they in fact liable to the producers of these films/videos and should be reported. on the other hand if they, meaning the geniuses at megavideo would compromise by removing the code from their player that blocks viewing, in lieu of this blatant act of outrageous cyberspace piracy not to mention the obvious double standard e.g. the videos are free!! and should remain so.and instead replaced it with a donation box, then they might find themselves in a more reasonable position with the online *free film viewers.. n est pas?

Resolved Question: How do you use R4CCE to patch a rom?

Actually, I want to patch the Chrono Trigger DS Rom for my R4. I've been hearing a lot of complaints that the rom doesn't work, so I checked and they said it was Square Enix's Anti-piracy. I think I have every the necessary stuff, but I'm not sure how to use R4CCE to patch Chrono Trigger using a code from Gbatemp.net. It's because I can't find the rom; what I've done so far is download R4CCE from Yusa Software, and I have the code and the rom. I put in my Microchip in the SD Slot and the computer has sensed it. Now I opened R4CCE but I can't find a rom; I can't find anything! How do I make it so I can look my Chrono Trigger rom and patch it with a code? HELP!! =(

Resolved Question: To battle the piracy in the Gulf of Aden should the USA dispatch a CVBG to the area?

While the USA and several other nations have several destroyers and cruisers in the waters off the coast of Somalia should using a CVBG be considered since the area to cover is huge. While our Naval ships are wonderful, being surface ships there is only so much area they can cover. Naval based carrier planes can cover a larger area quicker. While this would be expensive I feel the USA could receive UN funding to pay for its deployment. Also has the USA considered dispatching subs to the area. The subs can go undetected and travel almost anywhere. Operating there the subs could follow ships that leave ports notorious for pirate activity. Aslan: The USA is already involved in this having numerous naval vessels in the area. Did you miss the whole thing where 6 US Naval vessels surrounded a cargo boat filled with Tanks and other military weapons in tardy September I believe. buntslever: The UK already has naval forces in the area helping along with several other European nations. The antipiracy campaign is using naval forces from every over the world.

Open Question: do PC games with SecurRom and/or limited installs still have that garbage when downloaded from Steam ?

It seems like the game being tied to the Steam user account should be enough to prevent piracy, so I would wish that BS limited installs and SecuROM malware aren't part of the equation

To have an idea: one game in the us sites, is like US$: 50,00, here was supposed to be like an 114,00 reais, but the price is 289,00 reais, something like US$: 125.
